"Let all recognize themselves as devotees of Saint Germain and therefore, with him, as watchmen in the night of the Dark Cycle appearing. For with the oncoming of the Dark Cycle April 23, 1981, is also the turning of the cycle of Serapis Bey who has accorded to you by the grace of Sanat Kumara two fourteen-month cycles—the first, out of the white fire of the ascension flame, the amplification of the white fire of the causal body; the second, the amplification of the ray of wisdom by the light of the ascension flame.

"Now then, coming forth from Luxor there will be at the appointed hour the acceleration of the flame of the Holy Spirit, even the flame of love, by the action of purity and of ascension’s flame. When ascension’s flame then—by the heart of Serapis Bey—does multiply love in the earth, there will be a flushing out of the hate and hate creation of the fallen angels against the sons of Light, even their hatred of Saint Stephen and of the prophets of old!

"Therefore that hatred as the perversion of love will come upon them and be upon their heads. And the blood of the prophets will be required of them in this hour. And you will see how love devouring anti-love will intensify light and darkness and the hour of the choosing.

"Thus it is ever in the hour of the judgment. And ray by ray, the fourteen­month cycles of Serapis Bey are for the acceleration and the accentuation of light in the chakras of the seven rays of your being until all is fulfilled! Thus with anticipation you can realize that the return to the twelve o’clock line and the hierarchy of Capricorn unto the Great Divine Director is for the coming in the earth of the very judgment of the condemnation of the seed of the wicked upon the seed of Christ. And it is for the judgment of love."

"Often it is the case that when we receive initiations, we tend to forget about them. We may not keep in our date calendar a record of those initiations—and they are ongoing. Every single dictation and every single initiation we've ever received since 1958 is still outplaying itself. If any of you know anything about astrology, there are certain dates that are key in the stars and signs in the heavens.

"And those dates will ring their reverberations for centuries to come. They do not simply occur on the day of a particular aspect in your chart or the chart of a nation, but rather they keep on continuing and the reverberations are like the dropping of the proverbial pebble in the pond, and the rings continue to expand.

" . . . And I find as I go on in life that the challenges I discover in people and their problems become more complex, more demanding, more defying of the very presence of God which I would bring. And I realize that this is the end to which I have been prepared and to which you yourselves have been prepared: this high calling of being in the Presence of the Father and
therefore always His instrument.

" . . . Discipleship is a path of self-mastery in becoming the Christ. These initiations of the fourteen-month cycles are for Christed ones. They are based on the assumption that you are a Christed being. If not entirely fulfilled in outer manifestation, the nature of your true identity is Christhood. And so, we might say that the initiation is conferred on your Christ Self, who holds the Light and energy of its fullness until you are able to receive it.

"We only have a messenger in embodiment so many years, so many decades. The Great White Brotherhood wants these initiations on file, in print, on tape recording, and anchored in the physical earth through our body so that this will be available to those who can pursue the same cycles in time to come.

"Who, then, does God initiate? God initiates those who already have Light in their chakras. They must have something going for them, a threefold flame, so that when God brings more Light, they have Light to bring to it and to multiply it, to increase it.

"From him that has not shall be taken that which he has. And to him that hath, shall more be added. The great mystery of the teaching of Jesus. You have to have Light to get Light. And if we don't think we have Light, well, we have invocations we can offer, we can prime the pump through our fervent calls to God: we can draw down the Light of our I AM Presence.

"So this path is for everyone who will make himself a servant of God. If someone thinks he
doesn't have a threefold flame, he can earn one, he can call forth the Light of Maitreya and the Light of Christ to be that threefold flame for him while he earns that threefold flame.

" . . . Thus, study the initiations of water and fire and let them be synthesized in your heart as one. When you find the compatibility of these two, you will understand the lowering from the etheric octave to the astral of the momentum of thy wholeness already intact. And when thy wholeness stands—even at the levels of Death and Hell of the astral plane—unmoved, in that hour and in that day, for you Death and Hell shall be cast into the lake of fire!"

"We come for the strengthening of the pilasters and the insertion in the earth of electrodes of blue fire. Almost as you would place toothpicks to hold together a cake or a sandwich, so we insert in the earth, through layers of subterranean disturbances and pressures, giant electrodes of the will of God thousands of feet in length, having a diameter the width of this altar [25½ ft.].

"These the Elohim and the four cosmic forces are placing throughout the planetary body for the holding steady of the earth in a time when her molecules and substances are being bombarded with discordant sound, with chemicals and pollutions, with anger and war, experimentation, abuse of every kind and the shedding of blood. These electrodes will assist, beloved, in the absorption by earth and her evolutions of the new etheric body earth received almost a year ago.

" . . . Thus, raise your hands thus [in this manner] now. Take the hand of two Ascended Masters and feel the flow of the will of God—each one a mighty bodhisattva standing staunch above you to the left, to the right. You, then, become the cradle of the V, the lowest point that has descended. And the hands you clasp complete the sign of the V of victory in this fourteen-month cycle. They pull you up and they let you down again as you serve in the lowest octaves, and draw you up again to the etheric retreats and the inner glory of the City Foursquare."

"I come. And I come in the joy of your friend and mine, Lord Maitreya. I come, then, for by the cosmic timetables it is the hour for the release of the third fourteen-month cycle of the secret rays. It is midpoint, on the nine o'clock line, in polarity with the Fourth Ray on the three o'clock line.

"Therefore, beloved, know the white-fire/blue-fire Buddha! Know the Vajra, know the Vajra of this line. White diamond/blue diamond equals yellow diamond, Cosmic Christ illumination! Let those schooled in the Gemini Mind of Serapis, of Morya, and of Morya/Serapis understand that in this
fourteenmonth you can reach a great integration and a sealing and a meshing of the conclusion of Pisces, the beginning of Aquarius and maintain the unbroken link to all ages.

"For those who have Buddhahood may be in the sphere of any age and any cycle simultaneously. But those on the track of time and space, they walk through these cycles; and doors must open and [doors must] close, for they cannot contain the two at once.

"All things are sealed in the Causal Body of Light. Therefore let the Great Central Sun Magnet of the white fire [and the] legions of [the] Fourth Ray of all of cosmos [and] of Alpha and Omega now come forth for the multiplying of the action of strength of the Third Secret Ray, for the action of integration with God that it does provide, and for its very special integration with the Fourth Ray.

"Thus the ribbon is unfolded. And thus you will understand that the initiation of this cycle on this day of the Declaration of Independence of your Founding Fathers, beloved, does signify to what purpose this secret ray is come. It is your declaration and separating out from the not-self, the
dweller[-on-the-threshold], the fallen ones; [it is] your declaration of integration with the Great God. Maitreya has given to you the Teaching and the Mother has presented the Path. With these two you should enter this cycle with a certain flame of God-mastery and develop it day by day.

"Let these fourteen months be a forget-me-not to my heart that you might not let a day pass that you are not conscious of where you are in those cycles, approximately thirty degrees per month, beloved. Therefore let the cycle be announced each day at the beginning of each decree session that all might remember what is the station of the cross, who is the Dhyani Buddha, what is the path, what is the poison to be overcome, what is the antidote, [i.e.,] what will consume it. Thus I adjure you to pursue all five points scientifically, for these five points represented in the hands all come together in the womb of creation for the re-creation of the self after the image and likeness of the Buddha.

" . . . As you see these many rings that go out almost infinitely from the cathedral floor, you find, then, that some [devotees] have come to occupy their places and some have not. Some have occupied them for a time and left. It is like the Table Round, beloved. The Table Round was filled, the positions ordained. And yet, all of a sudden, many did decide to go to quest the Holy Grail, when the Grail was not for all. And though King Arthur warned that that would be the destruction of mighty Camelot of old, yet they left. And only a few, a very few, did actually have some form of contact with the Grail—Parsifal, Galahad, Bors and Launcelot, beloved.

"If you find it hard to forgive others for wrongs committed against you, understand that it is the soul you are forgiving, not the dweller-on-the-threshold. You can make fierce calls for the binding and
judgment of the dweller—the portion of the self that is evil, that is not of God and that is not to be forgiven. Then turn your attention to the soul. The soul may be impure and have all sorts of imperfections, but it still has the potential to one day realize God.

"Therefore, no matter how bad a person's deeds are, you can call upon the law of forgiveness for the soul. You should call to Astrea to encircle the soul and to liberate it from negative momentums of psychology and past records that have caused the soul to sin. Ask for the soul to be cut free by the angels and to be taken into the retreats of the Brotherhood to be tutored. As you give the violet flame, pray for the soul to make a turnaround, to be converted by the Holy Spirit and to come into the service of God. You can give your calls for forgiveness and for the binding of the dweller-on-the-threshold for a certain period of time, such as fourteen days.

"Then turn over the soul and the entire matter to Archangel Michael and the will of God. When your inner work is done, you can know with absolute certainty that, in God's own time and way, justice
will be meted out and the soul will be assisted and given new opportunity according to God's will. When you call for the binding of the dweller-on-the-threshold of someone who has wronged you but forgive the soul, both divine justice and mercy are satisfied and you yourself can be cut free from any sense of injustice or anger that would tie you to that one."

"Blessed ones, the very forcefield and the aura of the sons of God can be in the earth the full power of the Great Central Sun Magnet. Therefore, I say unto you, invoke the Great Central Sun Magnet and know how serious and how complete are the fourteen-month dispensations of Serapis Bey. Each and every fourteen-month cycle, you are calling to the Great Central Sun for the amplification of one of the spheres of the causal body by the power of ascension’s flame."

"Thus you must understand, a choice must be made. There comes a day and date in your life when it is time for you to accept the path of personal Christhood. And it begins with the celebration of the Passover feast, followed by the crucifixion and the resurrection of your soul in Christ.

"This is the season of the year when you determine that putting on the fullness of your Christhood, increment by increment and day by day, is your sole reason for being. And all other concerns and goals must be subject to the test of whether or not you are applying your efforts and work and service and thoughts and thoughtfulness to that goal of the internalization of your Higher Self.

"Many, many have foregone the ascension because they could not make this choice. The key is to know when it is your time to say:

"'I have lived through many lifetimes when I indulged and enjoyed myself and knew the satisfaction of success, of wealth, of every aspect of human life. These things I have known. Now I am ready
to drink the cup of my Lord, to drink all of it, and to live my life for the quickening of that Christ in all whom God sends to me—yes, to live my life for the enlightenment of humanity.'

"The alternative, of course, is to take what light you have and use it for selfish purposes or for personal aggrandizement. This choice will ultimately lead you to enter the left-handed path. That is the truth. That is the fact. Some may not enjoy hearing it. For who in the course of history has looked forward to the initiation of the crucifixion?

"I will tell you who, beloved. Not only your Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ but every son and daughter of God who has found his way to the kingdom of Light. That ultimate moment of the crucifixion, beloved, if you can understand it—and I speak not of mere persecution but of the initiation of the crucifixion itself—is surely the moment of self-transcendence.

"Thus I show you a mystery of Christ crucified. And I show you the glory of the crucifixion, not the sorrow of it. I show you how through that very process of Christ being crucified in you the Light of God, as symbolized and actualized in the Blood of Jesus, flows from your Christ Self for the spiritual nourishment of life.

"Thus when you come to understand the meaning of Jesus on the cross, you can hold in your hand the crucifix, not in the sense of death and sorrow but in the sense of everlasting Life. You can understand that as long as Jesus is on that cross, as long as the Christ of you is on that cross, the sacred fire is flowing from his Sacred Heart and from your heart that is sanctified through him as he holds the burden of Light and Darkness at the very center of the cross.

"And that Light does flow! It does nourish and sustain, transform and heal you! It does bring you to the point where you also may give your life, not in death but in life, for the many and the millions.

"This is a profound mystery. May you come to understand it through the All-Seeing Eye of God, through the single-eyed vision of your soul purified in Christ. Understand, then, that the Blood of Christ does flow perpetually to those who know and understand the mystery of Christ crucified. And they become vessels of his divine Blood, his divine Body and they imbibe the essence of what was his flesh and is his flesh in a spiritualized sense.

"This, then, is the crossroads of life. And this is the profound understanding that the Lord has given to your Messenger that you might have it at this Eastertide. It is the perpetual flow of Light from the Sacred Heart whereby you merge with that Christ in the alchemical marriage.

"You find yourself in Christ and through Christ as that Christ, one with Jesus, with him on that cross, knowing the bliss of bonding to his Sacred Heart as the flow of Light passes through you and as you bear in your etheric body and in your soul the stigmata that the saints have borne. Thus you are that point where Light and Darkness meet and the Christ of you overcomes that Darkness so that the world may not pass through the blackness of Death and Hell but because you have determined to be that Christ, many little ones will survive to know another day.

"You have pondered what is the best care you can give to your little ones as you have desired to teach them and nurture them at all levels of being—in their souls, in their hearts and in their four lower bodies. Neglect not to teach them the true spiritual meaning of the fourteen stations of the cross. For, if you delay that teaching, how do you expect them to receive it when their time does come?

"Do not spare children the knowledge that the way is hard and sometimes painful. Do not spare them the opportunity to make sacrifices early in life that they may also make sacrifices later in life.

" . . . Blessed hearts, you know the history of the final incarnation of your Lord. You know that he went on and did deliver his message in many octaves and levels of being and did settle in the East and there did live many years beyond the hour of the crucifixion. Yet from that hour on, his Ascended Master Light Body superimposed upon his flesh body was the open door of the Light flowing from God that held the balance for the karma of the world. And that Light has been sustained for two thousand years. In his footprints, walk ye. In his footprints, walk ye!"

On December 29, 1978, Serapis Bey, Chohan of the Fourth Ray, announced that a fourteen-month cycle of initiation in the white sphere of the Great Causal Body had been inaugurated at winter solstice, December 21, 1978.

The Causal Body is depicted in the Chart of Your Divine Self as concentric spheres of Light
surrounding the I AM Presence, the upper figure in the Chart. During each 14-month cycle we have the opportunity to increase one sphere of the Causal Body (and balance the karma made on the corresponding ray and chakra) by calling for its amplification and multiplication by ascension's flame and by the Great Central Sun Magnet of the Fourth Ray, which corresponds to the center (white) sphere of the Causal Body.

After seven successive 14-month cycles of initiation through the seven outer spheres of the Causal Body (white through blue), Serapis Bey announced on February 28, 1987, the inauguration of the first of five 14-month cycles in the five secret rays. The 14-month cycle in the sphere of the Second Secret Ray began April 25, 1988; the 14-month cycle in the sphere of the Third Secret Ray was initiated on July 4, 1989.

Serapis said, "The goal of this fourteen months is the passing through of your lifestream on the fourteen stations of the cross of the Woman and her seed . . . I announce to you, then, the dispensation and the means whereby you can increase the great white sphere of your individual causal body surrounding the Light of Alpha and of Omega."

Since that time, every fourteen months has marked the initiation of another fourteen-month cycle through one of the bands of the causal body. On January 27, 1980, Serapis Bey told us that the testings of the fourteen stations of the cross which we undergo during the fourteen-month cycles are the "opportunity for you and your beloved twin flame to transmute an extraordinary momentum of personal and planetary karma."

On February 28, 1987, Serapis Bey announced the inauguration of "fourteen months of planetary initiation in the first secret ray" as the first of "five [fourteen-month] rounds in the five secret rays." On January 2, 1988, Sanat Kumara addressed the challenges of initiation in the secret rays:

"Blessed ones, the very forcefield and the aura of the sons of God can be in the earth the full power of the Great Central Sun Magnet. Therefore, I say unto you, invoke the Great Central
Sun Magnet and know how serious and how complete are the fourteen-month dispensations of Serapis Bey. Each and every fourteen-month cycle, you are calling to the Great Central Sun for the amplification of one of the spheres of the causal body by the power of ascension's flame....

"Blessed ones, understand that this is for your ultimate protection, and we have explained to you that the initiations of the five secret rays, which have succeeded those of the seven, are most difficult. For here is the place of the violation of the heart." (1988 Pearls of Wisdom, vol. 31, no. 4, p. 36).

Since that time, every fourteen months has marked the initiation of another fourteen-month cycle
through succeeding spheres of the causal body multiplied by the Great Central Sun Magnet of the white sphere, i.e., amplified by the white fire of the Mother, the power of ascension's flame. (See 1988 Pearls of Wisdom, vol. 31 no. 29, p. 229 n. 7.)

On February 28, 1987, Serapis Bey announced the beginning of "fourteen months of planetary initiation in the First Secret Ray" as the first of five cycles in the five secret rays of the causal body. On April 25, 1988, in his dictation initiating the Second Secret Ray cycle, Serapis Bey explained that where we had fallen short in diligently pursuing the opportunity for self-mastery in the First Secret Ray cycle, we may "make calls for the opportunity to go back and lay the foundation of the first simultaneously with the second, thus as building two levels of a house at the same time."

The Messenger also explained in her October 28, 1984 lecture on the fourteen-month cycles that those who were not aware of these cycles of initiation or who felt they did not take the greatest advantage of them could "go back and make calls from the center ring of the causal body going outward to the present and ask to be given the initiations of those rings according to the will of God and the discriminating intelligence of your Higher Consciousness."

Serapis Bey has explained that the goal of each 14-month cycle is for you as a disciple of Jesus Christ and Gautama Buddha to pass through the 14 stations of the Aquarian cross of the Woman and her seed (Rev. 12:4, 5, 17). The 14 stations of the Aquarian cross provide a path of initiation for the Divine Mother and her sons and daughters that is parallel to the 14 stations of the Piscean cross fulfilled by Jesus.

The stations signify the 14 events that occurred in Jesus' life during his Passion on Good Friday from 1. Jesus is condemned to death to 14. Jesus is laid in the sepulchre. They represent not only the testings and trials of the chelas of the Ascended Masters but also the personal and planetary karma that Lightbearers are bearing in their bodies in this transition from the 2,000-year dispensation of Pisces to Aquarius.

In order to deal scientifically with these challenges, which come to us daily, students of the Ascended Masters chart the 14 stations on the Cosmic Clock according to the principles of cosmic astrology taught to the Messenger Elizabeth Clare Prophet by Mother Mary. Thus, each month during Serapis Bey's 14-month cycle, the chela is working on one of the 14 stations corresponding to one line of the Cosmic Clock.

The 1st station is charted on the 12:00 line (or 12:00/6:00 axis), the 2nd on the 1:00 line (or 1:00/7:00 axis), etc. The 13th station is clocked on the 12:00 line (or 12:00/6:00 axis) and the 14th station on the 6:00 line (or 6:00/12:00 axis).

If you were not aware of Serapis Bey's 14-month cycles of initiation or feel you have not taken the greatest advantage of the opportunity they afford those on the path of the ascension under the hierarchs of the Ruby Ray, you can ask the hierarchies of Light to give you, according to the will of God and the discriminating intelligence of your Holy Christ Self, the initiations of each sphere. Thus in your calls and invocations to God and your decrees to the ascended hosts of the Lord as well as in your daily service to life at home or on the job, you would be spending 14 months in each sphere of the Causal Body, one at a time, starting with the center white sphere and proceeding outward through each successive sphere.

You would be taking these beginning initiations simultaneously with the initiations of the current 14-month cycle-but only one missed 14-month cycle at a time along with the current cycle, beginning with the earliest one missed. For instance, someone just starting would begin with the current Third Secret Ray cycle and the first cycle through the white sphere of the Causal Body.

The seven rays and the initiations of the Lords of the Seven Rays are charted consecutively on the Alpha cycle of the Cosmic Clock on the 12/6 (First Ray), 1/7 (Second Ray), 2/8 (Third Ray), 3/9 (Fourth Ray), 4/10 (Fifth Ray), 5/11 (Sixth Ray), and 6/12 (Seventh Ray) axes. Padma Sambhava, the sponsoring Buddha of Guru Ma, a title and office held by Elizabeth Clare Prophet, is positioned to initiate the chelas of the Divine Mother on the 6:30/12:30 axis for the transition between the outer seven rays and the inner five secret rays. The five secret rays and the initiations of the Five Dhyani Buddhas are mastered on the Omega cycle of the Cosmic Clock on the half-hour positions of the 7:30/1:30 (First Secret Ray), 8:30/2:30 (Second Secret Ray), 9:30/3:30 (Third Secret Ray), 10:30/4:30 (Fourth Secret Ray), and 11:30/5:30 (Fifth Secret Ray) axes.

Each hour on the Cosmic Clock has an Alpha Thrust and an Omega Return. The first half-hour of the hour is the Alpha (plus, or yang) half of the hour; the second half of the hour is the Omega (minus, or yin) half of the hour. The initiations of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are on the Alpha Thrust and the initiations of the Buddha and the Mother are on the Omega Return. Through these initiations the soul goes forth from the Great Central Sun at the Alpha Thrust and gains experience in the Matter universes. On the Omega Return the soul reenters the Causal Body and returns through the ritual of the ascension to the heart of God in the Great Central Sun.

The entire current 14-month cycle of Serapis Bey in the Third Secret Ray (midpoint of the five secret rays) is charted on the Omega cycle, the half hour, of the 9:00 line (i.e., 9:30), which is in polarity with the Omega cycle of the Fourth Ray on the 3:00 line (i.e., 3:30).

Mother has explained that the five secret rays give us our most difficult and intricate initiations:

"The intricacy of . . . detail, of fact, of figuring, of planning . . . it is like figuring out . . . a very complex formula in order to get through to the next level of being.”

She has also said that when these cycles come about, there is the greatest upheaval, the greatest breaking down and building again. It is the tearing down of what has not been properly built in the seven color bands of the causal body. It is a time of sifting.

In 1987, Serapis Bey spoke of the secret ray cycles:

“Whether it be of nuclear energy, whether it be of the economy, . . . those things that come full circle in these eras have in past times not been met by victory by the majority . . . These next five years and more . . . will be of the greatest testing to the nation, to its government, and to its people . . . It is a time to be prepared, and . . . to endure—and to know a new age, a new world, a new consciousness.”

Gautama Buddha, in Quietly Comes the Buddha, relates the ten perfections and their initiations to the secret rays. The perfections of the second secret ray are Renunciation (masculine aspect) and Wisdom (feminine aspect).

Akshobhya’s mantra is “Om Akshobhya Hum.”

The mantra for the entire 14-month cycle is:
“I AM Alpha and Omega in the white fire core of being.”

The sign of this 14-month cycle is an elephant.
